1. Ticketing Information

Doors Open 2pm, estimated finish 10:30pm
  • No refund, exchange or replacement of ticket after purchase.
  • We reserve the right to add/withdraw or substitute acts within the line up
  • The right of admission is reserved
  • Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband upon entry. This wristband cannot be removed and given to another person. If you lose, remove or break your wristband you will be unable to get a replacement and you may be asked to leave.
  • Entry is at own risk. The Summer Series does not accept responsibility for any injuries, loss or damage sustained within or around the event.
  • The Summer Series maintains the right to cancel ticket purchases of any person/s whom they deem not suitable for this event.
  • This event will run in all weather unless the safety of the artists and patrons are in danger. The Summer Series reserves the right to reschedule the event and change locations.
  • Names on tickets are only used to verify proof of purchase should the ticket not scan.
  • Should your ticket not scan and you cannot prove purchase from an authorised ticket seller you will be refused entry.
  • VIAGOGO or TICKETMASTER RESALE are NOT authorised sellers, do not purchase through them.
  • We cannot verify ticket validity when purchased from third parties such as gumtree, ebay or facebook. 

2. Getting to the Venue

Public Transport

  • All patrons are encouraged to arrive by public transport. The following train stations are nearby: St James, Martin Place and Museum.

Car Parking

  • The nearest parking is at the Domain Car Park, a short walk away. Pre-book your parking at www.bookabay.com.au.

Accessible Parking

  • There is limited access to Accessible Parking around the Domain. Whilst accessible parking is located as close to the entry gates as possible – please note that being an outdoor event all patrons will be required to traverse grass and dirt paths located inside and outside the venue.

Drop Off and Pick Up Zones

  • A drop off and pickup zone will be available at on the corner of Hospital Road and the Domain Parking Station.

3. Entry into the Venue

There will be one event entry point on Art Gallery Road opposite the Art Gallery of NSW.

Whilst we understand the desire to line up early to secure the best vantage point – there are no shelters or facilities available at the entry point.

All patrons will be wrist banded on entry so if you intend to consume alcohol you will need to show ID upon entry. The following forms of ID are accepted:

  • A valid driver or riders licence or permit (issued by and Australian State or Territory)
  • Valid Passport
  • Proof of Age card issued by a public authority or the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age
  • Keypass (over 18) Identity card issued by Australia Post.

All bags will be searched on entry. There will be express entry lanes available for those without bags. Please note that alcohol, eskies, picnic baskets, hampers, commercial or packaged store-bought food will NOT be permitted. Please ensure you check the full prohibited items list before arrival. No bags bigger than A4.

Once inside the venue  pass-outs will NOT be permitted. If you leave the venue you will NOT be admitted back in. 

4. Age Limits and Requirements

Whilst minors are permitted at All-Ages events – Minors MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Due to sound levels and large crowds – Please be advised, to anyone bringing small children we strongly recommend bringing protective ear wear as there will be large scale production brought in for the event and subsequently may be quite loud in areas. The Platinum area is licensed for patrons 18 + only, so if you are bringing kids under the age of 18, Summer Series recommends you purchase GA tickets only. The general admission area will have family friendly entertainment and attractions to enjoy in addition to the music.

ID Checks will also be carried out at the bar. The following forms of ID are accepted:

 5. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being taken into the venue:

  • Aerosol Cans
  • Alcohol
  • Animals – Except for Authorised Guide / Companion Animals
  • Any Liquids – Empty Water Bottles can be refilled inside the designated event area
  • Bags or containers too large to be stores under a seat
  • Balls, Sporting Equipment, Bicycles, Skateboards etc.
  • Commercial or pre-packaged food
  • Confetti or torn paper
  • Drones, Professional Cameras or Video Recording Equipment
  • Eskies and Picnic Baskets
  • Fireworks or Explosives
  • Furniture including Folding Chairs, Tents, Gazebos or Inflatable Structures
  • Glass, Cans or Metal Containers
  • Illegal or Illicit Drugs or Substances of any Kind
  • Musical Instruments including Air Horns, Megaphones, Drums etc.
  • Prams
  • Studded Clothing and Accessories
  • Umbrellas, Poles, Sticks, Banners or Signs etc.
  • Weapons of Any Kind
  • Any item which is reasonably considered by the Promoter or Venue as being able to cause injury, nuisance or offence to any other person attending the Event.

6. Food, Beverage and ATMs

The event is fully licensed and patrons are NOT permitted to bring ANY liquids into the event. Empty plastic water bottles are permitted and may be re-filled free of charge once inside the event. A number of high quality food stalls and hospitality packages will be available. Commercial and packaged store-bought food will NOT be permitted into the venue.

All stalls and bars accept cash ONLY. ATMs are available within the event site but are prone to significant queues and signal loss with larger crowds. We recommend all patrons come prepared.

7. Seating and Chairs

General Admission ticket holders are permitted to bring 1 (per person) reasonably sized camping chair (max 81cm height back of chair). Summer Series reserves the right to refuse Patrons to bring in chairs they deem to be oversized, in poor condition or damaged to the point where injuries may occur. PLEASE NOTE: chairs should NOT be left behind, please take them home with you. This event supports minimal waste and environmental impact

If for any reason you require a higher chair it is strongly recommended that you contact The Summer Series for more information. Whilst it is understood that patrons may choose stand and dance during the event – we ask you please respect those seated around you.

8. Smoking

There are 2 designated smoking areas within the venue – these are the ONLY areas smoking is permitted. We ask that you respect the patrons around you.

9. Lost Property

Lost property can to be reported to Event Security during the event. Post event patrons are to contact The Summer Series at info@summerseries.net

10. Security

The Domain is a fully licensed venue and by law is required to have a large deployment of Event Security. Event Security is appointed the Event Promoter. If you have any issues please direct your questions to The Summer Series.

11. Accessible Facilities

There is limited access to Accessible Parking around the Domain. Whilst accessible parking is located as close to the entry gates as possible – please note that being an outdoor event all patrons will be required to traverse grass and dirt paths located inside and outside the venue.

Accessible toilets are available within the venue. An accessible viewing area & platform will be available. Please make sure to book in advance.

Companion Cards are accepted. Please contact info@summerseries.net to arrange.

12. Inclement Weather

All patrons are advised the venue is wholly outdoors and events will often proceed through inclement weather including wind and rain. Patrons are recommended to come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear for the forecast. Umbrellas are NOT permitted within the venue.

The Event Promoter will do everything possible to ensure the event proceeds as planned – safety concerns regarding severe weather may delay, postpone or cancel an event.
